Having grown up in the northern Indiana farming community of Howe, Dennis attended farm and personal property auctions frequently, becoming acquainted with several great auctioneers. Always fascinated by the real estate industry, he earned his real estate broker’s license right out of college in 1976. He worked as a full time Real Estate Broker for several years before he began a career as an entrepreneur,, building and selling small businesses. Along the way he has continued to invest in
real estate holdings including apartments and downtown parking. He and his wife Barbara, an oncology nurse, share their Irvington home with their dogs, Melvin and Casey. Casey is being trained to visit Nursing Homes. Melvin
is mean as a stick. They enjoy traveling and attending the auctions of their many auctioneer friends around the country. They collect primitive antiques for " Woodpecker Ridge“, their log cabin property in Brown County.
